Co-Living Madrid

Co-Living Madrid is a proposal with more than 90 homes in the east of Madrid. The design is based on maximizing the possibilities and opportunities of the plot in combination with different forms of housing within a Co-Living concept. Because the location is surrounded by fairly high and closed industrial buildings, the plan has been given an inward-facing character.

The buildings are positioned around two new courtyards, forming an enclave in the city. Due to the diverse program, squares and housing types, there is a great diversity in the plan. At a local scale, the plan provides for the transition from industrial to human scale and a warm living environment.
