Residential Building Tacheles
At the heart of a new master plan, situated along the central square, PWR develops a new residential building with 36 high-end apartments. The characteristic 9 meter wide concrete balconies create a palazzo effect: generous outdoor living space with views on the new square. The apartments are ideally suited for families or the elderly, there is sufficient moving space and no barriers (>20mm) throughout the building. The layout of the building is extremely flexible with multiple shafts on each side, a continuous grid in the ceiling for light connections and a repetitive facade system, allowing multiple configurations of each apartment. The lively ground floor is carefully designed in relation to the connecting square in front. The robust facade provides a clear rhythm, transparent facades work invitingly and all advertisements are integrated into the facade. The building is currently under construction and nearing completion.
