Selected for Strandeiland P8!

Keizer Koopmans has been selected by housing association Ymere to design ‘plot P8’ on Strandeiland, in collaboration with M3H Architects. Strandeiland will become one of Amsterdam’s largest new urban neighborhoods: a relaxed residential environment on a newly reclaimed island.

Plot P8 will accommodate approximately 200 apartments arranged around a lush communal courtyard and will be the first building to be completed in the Pampusbuurt, the northern part of Strandeiland. As a landmark building for the neighborhood, we aim for a strong architectural statement: sculptural and refined, with a clear focus on vibrant streets and outdoor living.
